About Us

Phelps Connections for Seniors, Inc. is a Missouri 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization established in Phelps County to support our senior community.  Our main focus is to establish a new senior center and operate it, providing a variety of senior services and activities. 

We have made great progress!  We have acquired a large facility of approximately 20,000 square feet.  We have received estimates for the renovation and conversion to a senior center.  It will include a store, dining area, multipurpose area, offices, and much more.  We plan to provide a variety of activities for our seniors.

The Board of Directors is comprised of residents of our county who are highly commited to service and bringing the very best to the seniors living in Phelps County.  Feel free to contact us as we would love to hear from you!

While this website will provide information about the new senior center and the activities associated with it, we also want to provide a variety of resources, "connections", for seniors.  In this website you will find information about housing, nutrition, recreation, medications, transportation, health, fitness, and more.  We encourage you to visit our calendars under the Activities menu.  There are many activities for seniors in Phelps County!

Where possible, we have tried to include links to maps when mentioning locations, and to websites when mentioning organizations.  We have included full phone numbers, so that if you are viewing our site on a mobile device, you can just tap the number to place a call.  Our website is fuly responsive - it detects the size of the screen of the device you are using, and reformats itself for that device.  The site will look different on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
