Administration on Aging
The AoA administers many national programs and services for elders, including free health insurance counseling, legal assistance, elder abuse prevention and help with long-term care planning.

Americans With Disabilities Act
The ADA is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the general public.

Benefits.gov
A unique service that finds the benefits for which you may be eligible.

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
The federal website for information related to Medicare and Medicaid services.

Department of Veterans Affairs
To fulfill President Lincoln’s promise "To care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan" by serving and honoring the men and women who are America’s veterans.

Eldercare Locator
A public service of the U.S. Administration on Aging connecting you to services for older adults and their families.

Medicaid
The official government website for Medicaid.

Medicare
The official government website for Medicare.

National Institute on Aging
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) website offers information about the science of healthy aging, and Alzheimer’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease-related dementias (AD/ADRD).

Supplemental Security Income
The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program provides monthly payments to adults and children with a disability or blindness who have income and resources below specific financial limits. SSI payments are also made to people age 65 and older without disabilities who meet the financial qualifications.
